Katherine Ordonez was born and raised in Southern Virginia with a strong faith in Christ, a love for all things creative and artsy, as well as a love for medicine and healthcare. Her friends know her as Kat, and she grew up singing in all the choirs and talent shows and fell in love with broadway musicals – Les Miserable, Miss Saigon, and Hello Dolly!, to name a few of her favorites. A nurse by trade, she has an innate sense for wanting to make others feel better – either through medical advice, medical care, and now, beauty and makeup.
Her love for makeup artistry started almost 10 years ago and has grown into a passion she wants to share with everyone. Her journey humbly started doing makeup for her friends which grew into a fairly large following in the DMV area for weddings and special events. Now that she is based in the Bay Area of California, she is branching out by working with high-end brands, production companies, as well as taking part in nationally known beauty conferences to network and learn from other artists.
Kat fully believes that inner beauty shines more than outward beauty – she only wants to enhance what is already there. She wants to remind women, young and old, don’t ever get in the way of your own growth and progress. Love the process you are in and be a light for others!
